We Used Notify My Team for Our Snow Day Today!

There’s a big storm in the Northeast that dropped at least a foot of snow on us here in Albany. Early this morning we decided to close. Mike sent out the notification to everyone using Notify My Team. Here’s what the stats page looked like a few minutes later:

There are also individual stats below. If needed, we can reach out to anyone who hasn’t viewed the message. Eventually I plan to add an auto-reminder feature so that you can set it up to automatically send a reminder message 15/30/60 minutes later if someone hasn’t viewed the original message.

I’m making quite a bit of progress on the front-end marketing site. I forgot how much work those pages are! I’m mostly satisfied with the home page, pricing page, registration page, and the other main pages in the sales funnel. I still have the content side of things – FAQs, a tutorial, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, etc – and a bunch of testing left to go, so I think we’re still at least a month out from a soft launch.

Slowly but surely I’m making progress. Today was a big step because Notify My Team was created to solve our own problem. So step #1 is ensuring that it works for us, and that’s now a hurdle that we’ve cleared.

If you’re interested in being an early tester (I’ll give you a free account!), or if you have any other feedback or questions, get in touch on Twitter, LinkedIn, or by emailing me at adam@ this domain.
